Report On Aggsa America Sponsored Visiting Day At Anglican Girls Grammar School, Awkunanaw, Enugu Date: Saturday, 3rd May 2026
1. Introduction
The visiting day program sponsored by AGGSA America was held today, 3rd May 2026, at Anglican Girls Grammar School, Awkunanaw, Enugu. The initiative was organized specifically to cater for students whose parents reside far away and are unable to visit them during regular visiting days due to distance.
2. Arrival and Coordination
I arrived at the school at about 1:00 p.m. The students began arriving from their hostels at approximately 1:30 p.m.
The Senior Hostel Mistress, Mrs. Gloria Egbo, together with the School Matron, coordinated and organized the students for the visit. Mrs. Egbo worked with a prepared list of eligible students, which proved very helpful. This list enabled us to identify and manage the situation when some students who were not covered by the program attempted to join.
3. Attendance and Welfare
A total of 54 students were attended to during the visit.
All the students were well catered for. They had enough food to eat, along with drinks, water, and oranges served as fruit for lunch.
4. Documentation
Pictures and videos from the visiting day are hereby attached.
5. Conclusion
The visiting day program was orderly and successful. The use of a prepared list by the Senior Hostel Mistress ensured that the resources were directed to the intended beneficiaries. The students were happy and well-fed.
